CAM Photo Photography Workshops
powered by MaverickPhotography.us

Together, the California Automobile Museum and MaverickPhotography.us bring you CAM Photo Workshops every 4th Tuesday of the month from 5pm – 9pm at the Museum. With nearly 20 incredibly talented photographers who are eager to mentor and teach, and a floor of vintage and exquisite automobiles, you have a great recipe for informative, educational and fun photography workshops! With two tracks based on skill level and new topics each month, students will go from basic to advanced throughout the year and find themselves growing and developing their photography skills right away. Online pre-registration is required; pay-at-the-door is not available. Early bird specials available for each class until a week prior to the class date. Regular admission is $50 per person.
Workshops like no other! Fun! Interactive! Hands on! The first two hours of each workshop will be in the classroom learning the nuts and bolts. The last hour of each workshop will be in the "lab" (the museum floor) for practical application of what you just learned in the classroom.
February's Camera 101 starts you off with an overview of our entire course for the year, some history of photography and right into getting to know and understand the basic functions of your camera.
This will lead you right into the March workshop, Camera 102 which will take you into a little deeper understanding of the camera.
As a workshop participant, you will get to come back into the museum, throughout the month during normal operating hours, at a discounted rate to practice what you have learned and enjoy the museum.
(Camera 101 is the first of 12 workshops that will take place every fourth Tuesday at the California Auto Museum. There are two tracks that will be going on at the same time, so beginners to advanced can start at the same time or jump in any where in between)
